Self Assessment Reporting (SAR)
As a provider of apprenticeship education, SETA must comply fully with the requirements outlined by Government in order to secure our registration as an approved provider of training. This includes annual performance reporting commonly known as a self-assessment report (SAR).
The SAR is compiled by the Staff and Senior Management Team at SETA and used as a development tool with our Board of Trustees. It makes use of a range of performance data widely available via national databases including success rates.
The review includes a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). Areas reported against mirror those within the Education Inspection Framework (EIF):
-
Quality of Education
-
Behaviour and Attitudes
-
Personal Development
-
Leadership and Management
- Apprenticeships
-
All areas form the basis of Government Inspectorate (e.g. Ofsted).
