Tomorrows Engineers
Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (2-6 November 2020) is designed to help broaden the minds of young people and inspire them about the exciting opportunities in the world of engineering through digital and social media platforms.
The eighth Tomorrow’s Engineers Week takes place 2-6 November 2020. In the past three years alone, Tomorrow’s Engineers Week has seen over 100,000 young people take part in interactive engineering school assemblies, almost half a million views of inspiring films about engineers on a mission to make the world a better place, hundreds of millions of social media content views and widespread media coverage.
The week is aimed at widening participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subjects across the country by bringing STEM to life through real-world engineering examples.
SETA is supporting this initiative by showcasing some of the amazing apprentices that are currently working towards their engineering apprenticeship with various local employers. Each day between 2-6 November our social media channels set the stage to highlight a different apprentice every day telling us what skills they use to make them a good engineer and what they love about engineering.
